Overview

The partnership contacted GCS Cabins with an enquiry for two new classrooms to move students from an old area of the school which was slowly becoming unfit for purpose. The buildings were to house year 1 & year 2 students. The Partnership were keen to outsource all the complicated but necessary relationships involved with a modular project and were delighted to hear that we offer a full turn-key service taking full responsibility for everything including groundworks, utilities service and connections, bespoke building design & manufacture, plus planning application through to approval, along with building regulations to point of sign off, delivery & installation. A true, peace of mind service, handled professionally so our clients don’t have to worry about a thing.

Key issues faced by client

The Partnership had a few key issues to resolve - Access was very tight both logistically and particularly in time-frame with a strict limitation in limiting delivery, installation and construction within school holidays and weekends. Planning permission also posed a few restrictions to overcome and the old building needed removal. Finally the design of the new building called for an aesthetically pleasing match to the existing school.
